Welcome to Fall! Summer is in the rearview mirror, and we are officially in a new season. While I am enjoying all things pumpkin, I am beginning to settle into a different rhythm based on the needs of my family and clients. Just recently, my youngest daughter transitioned to a new classroom. She is our youngest and known as the “pocket rocket” of the family, but during this transition she has felt uncertain. So, the day arrived to make the transition, and she quietly leaned in and said, “Mom, can you walk me to the classroom?” I immediately agreed and when the time came, we got up and I accompanied her to the door of the new classroom. When we arrived at the door she quickly said, “You can leave now.” This illustrates the essence of Trust—assured reliance. So, after reflecting on this experience, I was drawn to consider the following:

  • Who do you Trust?
  • What should you Trust?
  • Where do you find Trust?

Each plays a role in the security that we experience, resulting in a temporal or eternal perspective. As a Life and Leadership coach, I am excited to encourage, equip, and learn from this community by exploring the following questions this month:

  • How does Trust relate to Identity?
  • How does Trust relate to Purpose
  • How does Trust relate to Direction?

Thriving Together,

~Erin
